On Wednesday, the team held the premiere of their film, for which The Russo Brothers had invited Aamir Khan. But due to Aamir’s tight schedule amidst the promotions of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, he couldn’t mark his presence.
Aamir decided to treat the Russo brothers in his own desi way. He invited the brothers, and Dhanush along with the entire entourage of ‘The Gray Man’ over for dinner. The dinner was also joined by Kiran Rao. Aamir, who is very fond of Gujarati food, hosted a scrumptious Gujarati dinner at his home.
The actor wanted The Russo Brothers to taste traditional Gujarati exquisiteness, especially his top favourites. To treat his guests to authentic Gujarati cuisine, Aamir invited different chefs from diverse parts of Gujarat who specialize in cooking different traditional delicacies. A chef who specialises in making Papad Luva Patodi, Tuver Lifafa, and Kand Puri came from Surat while the best chef for Fafda and Jalebi was called from Surendranagar & another chef came from Khambhat for Sutarfeni.
Meanwhile, Aamir’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is only a few weeks away from its release. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. It is slated to release in August and will clash with Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
