For this series, Sidharth has donned a cop’s avatar and will join the extravagant sets from August 1. This schedule will go on for 15 days and Shilpa Shetty will also be a part of the same. Speaking about the project, Shilpa had previously revealed that she had signed the series for her son Viaan Raj. “I told my son that Rohit Shetty has offered me a role and he jumped and he said, “mumma you have to do it for me”. When I saw the excitement on his face, I was so happy. He is such a big fan of Rohit. I always tell Rohit this is something I did for him (my son),” Shilpa had told PTI.
Speaking about his ambitious idea behind making this cop universe saga, Rohit had said, “We have always seen these big shows from Hollywood and the West. But I wanted to make an Indian show to rival those shows. I have always wanted to make a big international show born from India, one that can make a mark on the global stage.” Apart from Sidharth and Shilpa, ‘Indian Police Force’s series also stars Vivek Oberoi in a pivotal role.
