‘Karthikeya 2’ box office collection: Nikhil Siddhartha starrer collects Rs 50 lakhs on its third Monday – Times of India

While the Bollywood movies are struggling to pull the audience to the theatres, the masses seem to be enjoying ‘Karthikeya 2’ Hindi as it is racing ahead at the box office. The film starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran had a decent collection on its third Monday since its release.

According to the BoxOfficeIndia report, the film collected Rs 50 lakhs nett making the total collection Rs 20.36 crore. The report further stated that there will be no competition for the film this week which will allow the movie to hold well in the fourth week. It added that the film will collect around Rs 25 crore nett before the release of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Bhrahmastra’.

The collections of ‘Karthikeya 2’ Hindi till date are as follows.

Week One: Rs 4,43,00,000

Second two: Rs 11,18,00,000

Friday: Rs 75,00,000

Saturday: Rs 1,75,00,000 approximately

Sunday: Rs 1,75,00,000 approximately

Monday: Rs 50,00,000 approximately

Third Week: Rs 4,75,00,000 (4 days)

TOTAL: Rs 20,36,00,000 approximately

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, ‘Karthikeya 2’ also features Anupam Kher in a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, yesterday, the film team Gujarat’s CM Bhupendrabhai Patel and Nikhil shared the picture from the meeting on his Twitter. He wrote, “Honourable CM of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel met and appreciated team Karthikeya 2. An absolute honour to have this moment.”
