The second Friday collection of Rs 8.75 crore set an upward trend for the movie which raked in Rs 14 crore and Rs 14.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. In its second weekend, ‘Brahmastra’ Hindi added Rs 37 crore nett to its total, which not stands at a whopping Rs 180 crore nett, reports Boxofficeindia. With these whopping figures, ‘Brahmastra’ Hindi has earned a spot in the post-pandemic blockbusters like ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. ‘Brahmastra’ has performed well in the dubbed formats too. It has managed to earn Rs 21 crore, taking its all formats total to over Rs 200 crore nett.
Recently, Ayan Mukerji had opened up about the negative reviews that ‘Brahmastra’ has got. “I only focus on the positive energy. I know that various kinds of reviews have come. I haven’t been able to absorb all those reviews, be it negative reviews, fan theories or what people did not like. I will do that when the time comes. I will take all that into consideration before moving on to part two,” the director had said. The makers are planning several spin off too from the first part, as well as an action packed sequel.
