Jacqueline Fernandez’s stylist Leepakshi Ellawadi admits to receiving Rs 3 crore from Sukesh Chandrasekhar – Times of India

After Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by the Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police, her stylist was also called in for an interrogation in connection to the 200-crore extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Leepakshi Ellawadi, who has styled the Bollywood actress in the past, was called in for questioning by the cops as they wanted to know about the equation shared by Fernandez with the alleged conman.

In her statement, Ellawadi has made several revelations about Jacqueline Fernandez and Sukesh Chandrashekhar. An official told PTI, “He contacted Ellawadi last year to know about the brands and types of clothing preferred by Fernandez. He took suggestions from her and also handed over Rs. 3 crore to her to buy her favourite clothes. The entire amount received by Chandrashekhar was spent by Ellawadi to purchase gifts for Fernandez.” Leepakshi Ellawadi also reportedly stated that after news about Chandrashekhar’s arrest was reported, Jacqueline Fernandez broke all times with him.

Last month when the Enforcement Directorate filed their chargesheet in the case, they had named Jacqueline as an accused. In he rdefense, the actress had filed a plea before the Appellate Authority of PMLA wherein she stated, “The approach of ED, unfortunately, seems to be highly mechanical and motivated. The plea also stated that other celebrities who received gifts from Sukesh were made witnesses while Jacqueline was mentioned as an accused. This clearly shows a malafide, motivated and biased approach on the part of the investigation authority which cannot be ignored.”
