Ayushmann Khurrana has consistently impressed the audience with not just his performances, but also his skills as a singer. The man with many talents, who has belted out a number of melodious songs in the past, has done it again in Junglee Pictures’ Doctor G. Ayushmann, who plays the title role, has crooned the track, O Sweetie Sweetie. The actor shared a glimpse of the romantic number on social media yesterday and got a great response for it from music lovers, who are now eagerly waiting to hear the complete song. The track is a love note from him dedicated to his fans. The film, which is already drawing a lot of interest from the audience, sees him playing Doctor Uday Gupta, who unwillingly lands up being the only male student in the gynaecology department of a medical college in Bhopal. Adding to the excitement around the film is the new song, which has been penned by Raj Shekhar and composed by Amit Trivedi.

Talking about hitting the right notes with the song, Ayushmann says, “When I heard the song for the first time, I was hooked to its melody immediately. I have always been a fan of Amit Trivedi’s compositions. He is known for his quirky and good music. We have worked together for Andhadhun, and this is another beautiful track that we have done together. I want to dedicate this song to my audience to thank them for always being supportive towards me. As soon as I sang it and heard the final cut, I couldn’t wait for it to release because this is a special one, and I’m excited about the audience’s reactions.” Composer Amit Trivedi adds, “It has been a wonderful experience working on the songs of Doctor G along with Junglee Pictures. I hope the audience likes the songs, too.”

The plot that this medical college campus comedy revolves around is something that has never been explored before in our cinema. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chadha in pivotal roles. Get ready to meet Doctor G in the theatres on October 14.
