At the end of its fifth week, ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ Hindi is expected to earn around Rs 1.75 crore nett. The film stands at a total collection of Rs 227.50 crore nett and is predicted to conclude it’s theatrical with Rs 229 crore nett and around Rs 253 crore nett in all formats, reports Boxofficeindia. ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ Hindi has earned close to Rs 70 crore nett from the Mumbai circuit and Rs 50 crore nett from Delhi / Up and East Punjab had added around Rs 20 crore nett to the film’s total. ‘Brahmastra’ Hindi has underperformed in smaller cities.
After, ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’, Ayan Mukerji is now working on ‘Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev’. Speaking about the same the director had told PTI, “’Love is the light’ was my line for the film. ‘Brahmastra: Part One’ used to be called ‘Love’ for the longest time because that was the theme of the film. It is a love story and Shiva got his power from love. But ‘Part Two: Dev’ will be a darker and juicier story in terms of the dramatic conflict. The follow-ups will be darker for sure.” Several new actors and characters are expected to join this franchise now.
