Rakul Preet Singh tweeted a typical actor’s tweet when his/her cat is out of the bag, in response to her brother Aman confirming that she and Jackky have marriage on their minds. The tweet read as below:

Anyway, shaadi to 2023 mein hone wali hai, agar hum aaj ki state of mind ko dekhen dono families ke (both families, Bhagnanis and Singhs are making plans about the same for 2023). Actually, Rakul and Jackky had planned to get married in November 2022, you read that right, next month. Bhagnanis and Singhs were equally excited about it. But it so happened that the wedding had to be postponed. Reason? Mudassar Aziz’s film ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ starring Rakul, Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Anita Raaj and Shakti Kapoor. The maker Mudassar Aziz (who is dating Huma Qureshi) wanted to complete the film by December end. Reason? Two actors of that film- Arjun and Bhumi – were not free next year.

Rakul and Jackky are very friendly with Bhumi, Malaika Arora and Arjun. This gang of five recently had a whale of a time in London, celebrating Rakul’s birthday. The decision to push the wedding was taken in a flash, no deliberation, all smooth sailing.

We bet the ‘dosti yaari’ has become stronger after Rakul and Jackky’s ‘sacrificial’ decision.
