Dangal actor, who is currently taking a break from films to spend quality time with his family and kids recently recalled the days when he was part of a short film but hid it from his parents.
In a recent interaction with Humans of Bombay, the 57-year-old said that Aditya Bhattacharya, director Basu Bhattacharya’s son was his classmate. The latter wanted to make a short film and since he was so well connected in the industry, he went ahead and roped Aamir in a project that also starred Victor Banerjee and Neena Gupta. The esoteric movie was called Paranoia and was a silent flick with no dialogues. Later on, when Shabana Azmi saw the movie, she was all praises for Aamir and said that his father, Tahir Hussain should see the film.
Moving on, the actor confessed that his parents do not know that he has acted in this movie and requested Shabana Azmi to not tell him. Eventually, they learnt about this and after initial hesitation on their part, Aamir finally became an actor and the rest is history.

Salaam Venky. The movie, starring Kajol and Vishal Jethwa will release later this week.
