Several world dignitaries, public personalities, celebrities and politicians headed over to Qatar to watch the big showdown. There among the fans, was the Bollywood star couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. A fan took to social media to share her surprise at spotting the stars standing behind her and watching the match.
The two looked engrossed in the match, especially Singh, who was seen discussing the passes with a friend. On spotting the fan recording him, Ranveer smiled and waved to the fan.

Ranveer was also seen engaging in some fun banter with former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri. Taking to Twitter, Shastri shared a video and captioned it saying, “I don’t know what to say…”

While Ranveer was at the stadium to watch the match as a spectator, wife Deepika was there to unveil the FIFA trophy ahead of Argentina and France match. The actress, who is the Indian face of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton, was called on to open the custom-made trophy trunk.
On the work front, Deepika’s appearance on the global stage comes amidst the controversy surrounding her song ‘Besharam Rang’ in Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, was seen promoting the film on a TV show.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is set to release his next comedy, ‘Cirkus’ on Friday. The film directed by Rohit Shetty also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde.
