During a recent interview, the ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor revealed that ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ is one of those favourite performances which he thought would last since he was so close to that character. But the actor recently realized how wrong he was when he showed the film to his boys with great pride. But when he watched the film through their eyes he could feel that he did too much. Hrithik says the world is changed and everything is evolved.
He further added that Hrehaan and Hridhaan could see it too and he had a very healthy discussion with his sons after that. Even though they got the emotions and had tears in their eyes, the kids could still discern that there were parts that Hrithik could have done less. And they were giving examples of the TV shows that they have seen. The celebrated actor admits that he was very glad to accept the reality while watching the film and it’s only possible because he has moved with the times. It’s not like he has stayed attached to that performance and he couldn’t look beyond it. But now he has realized that ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ was one performance he thought will last but that is also gone.
In ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, Hrithik played the role of a man with impaired mental growth. Written and directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, the film turned out to be the foundation for Hrithik’s superhero franchise, ‘Krish’.
Up next for the actor is Siddharth Anand’s much-anticipated aerial action movie ‘Fighter’ which sees him opposite Deepika Padukone and is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2024.
