Jackie Shroff indulges in fun banter with UP CM Yogi Adityanath, requests him to lower price of popcorn in movie theatres – Times of India

Actor Jackie Shroff, lovingly knows as ‘Bhidu’ is one personality who is both real and goofy. The 65-year-old, who has been in Bollywood for nearly four decades is known to always keep it light and fun, preferring to not take life too seriously.

In a recent video, shot at a press conference, the actor can be seen welcoming UP CM Yogi Adityanath to Mumbai and then proceeds to bring up some real concerns that he has. The
Yaadein actor starts off by offering homemade food to the CM any time during his visit to the city.

Jackie then proceeds to request the CM to reduce the price of popcorn in the theatre, leading to the crowd erupting in laughter.

Jokingly lamenting that the price of popcorn is roughly around Rs 800, Jackie also added that theatres should reduce the quantity of the same too, along with the price, because no one can actually eat that much.

He also added that a movie watching experience should be an affordable one and not something that strips one off a major chunk of money each time. The actor concluded by saying thanks to the CM and inviting him for a meal again.

Though Yogi Adityanath is not seen in the video, it seems to be an ‘all in fun’ exchange between the two.
