Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in an earlier interaction with Diljit had once showered praise on the latter, adding that he is a huge fan of him. It so happened that way back in 2015, Diljit had an opportunity to interact with the team of the movie
Dilwale, that starred Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
During the interaction, SRK, being his gracious self, told Diljit that he is a huge fan of him and has seen many of his movies. The
Pathaan actor also added that he is not saying all of this just for the sake of it, he genuinely admires Diljit.
Later, SRK hilariously went down on one knee and held Diljit’s hand and said that he loves him from the ‘core of his mind’.
Stumped, Diljit could only exclaim ‘Hayo rabba’ in his inimitable style. SRK went further ahead and added that rarely does he get to meet a superstar like Diljit himself, so this was a special occasion.
