Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rupin Suchak designed 24 sets for Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Inshallah’: Reports – Times of India



Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ishallah’ is back in the headlines after it was revealed that the director is keen to get the project on floors with another 50-year-old actor in place of Salman Khan. ETimes broke the news that the director will movie ahead with plans to have Alia Bhatt as his leading lady.

Now, according to the latest reports, production designer and celebrity interior designer Rupin Suchak has revealed his contributions to the film that was shelved over creative differences. Recalling the ‘showdown’ on the sets he said that it lead to Salman and Bhansali walking away. In a conversation with Network 18, Suchak claimed that he had spent over a year ‘pre-planning the set with Bhansali‘.
“In a span of nine months, we designed 24 sets. We started building three sets, out of which we had completed one,” he told the portal and added that they even started shooting with Alia.

He went on to add that the second set was nearing completion when the shoot was abruptly called off.

The production designeris reportedly working on filmmaker Farhan Akhtar‘s next ‘Jee Le Zara’ that will star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
