Salman and Sooraj have been discussing a film for a while now and as per a report in Pinkvilla, the film is at a stage where it can go on floors this year in November or December. The film is titled ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’ and with this, Barjatya wants to celebrate love in the backdrop of nuclear families. It’s also said to be one of the most special subjects that Barjatya has developed till date.
Further, the makers are eyeing for Diwali 2024 to release the film. The director is still searching for a suitable female lead for the film. It’s said that this time around, the entire conflict of the film revolves around the life of a married couple with strong family values. The report further added that apart from this, Khan is being offered a number of projects from Karan Johar’s banner, producer Dil Raju, Aamir Khan’s production house amidst more. But the actor will take a call on most of his upcoming projects to decide which film should be planned for an Eid 2024 release.
Interestingly, Sooraj had dropped the name ‘Prem’ and broken his own stereotypes for ‘Uunchai’. Salman wanted to also be a part of that film but Barjatya felt he wanted to cast other actors to make his film more authentic and believable.
This year, Khan has two releases lined up – Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in Eid 2023 while ‘Tiger 3’ will release in Diwali.
