Salman has been in the news after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to assassinate him, earlier this month. Post that, the actor’s security had been beefed up and an entire contigent of Mumbai policemen are regularly spotted ensuring security checks outside Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra.
ETimes reached out to a source close to the police who revealed that the mood around the actor’s residence and family is quite serious. The source said, “Everyone in Salman Khan’s family and his team are serious and very concerned about his safety. These new threats have shaken things up, but they also know that the police has responded well and is making sure that the security arrangements are appropriate.”
The source also revealed that the police has recommended changes to Salman Khan’s schedule keeping in mind his security. The source said, “His team has been told to avoid any on ground events for the next few days. He also has a movie release coming up and they will have to plan any promotional activities accordingly.”
Salman will soon be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, opposite Pooja Hegde, co-starring Shehnaaz Gill.
