A lot has been spoken about ‘Hera Pheri 3’ as the third installment of this cult franchise has kept getting delayed for years now. A while back, Akshay Kumar had stated that he won’t be a part of it and fans were disappointed. There were also rumours that Kartik Aaryan had replaced Akshay. But loyal fans of the franchise breathed a sigh of relief when Akshay, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal were spotted shooting a promo for ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
The film is finally back on track the shoot is going to begin very soon. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, Suniel has clarified that there were no delays because of Akshay. He added that the entire working is important and the producer needed to be very clear about the script. Firoz bhai (Producer Firoz Nadiadwala) went through a lot in life, said Suniel and he wished the best for him because he loves him. But actors had got nothing to do with ‘Hera Pheri 3’ not happening.

Kartik could have perhaps played another character if he was on board, but Raju will always remain Raju. Shetty had said in an exclusive chat with ETimes recently that, “He was never out. It was only the Math that had to perhaps sit in. It might be that certain things were not clear to him. Firoz bhai (Firoz Nadiadwala) and Akshay cracked it. In fact, Akshay used to always tell me that we should do the third part of ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise. That franchise is magic; Paresh bhai (Paresh Rawal) said that when we shot for it.”
