In a recent interview with a news portal, Malaika said that when you are perceived as a sexy bombshell, no one takes you seriously. And this is what people thought about her for the longest time. According to her, it bothered her how people thought about her as just someone with a ‘great body’ and a ‘good face’. She wanted to break away from this image, and she worked on herself to do so, Malaika told Brides Today.
Elaborating further, she added that for her, confidence was never an issue. If there is one thing that she has in abundance, it’s confidence. Today, she feels calmer and wiser, something she certainly wasn’t when she was growing up. Malaika also remembered that she was constantly dealing with internal strife. According to her, she is a born hustler, and she will die a hustler.
Malaika recently featured in a song, titled ‘Tera Ki Khayal’ along with Guru Randhawa. The song has been sung by Guru Randhawa. He also penned the lyrics along with Royal Maan. The song is composed by Sanjoy, with video direction by Bosco Leslie Martis.
On the personal front, she is currently in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor. While reports about their wedding keep doing the rounds, there has been no official confirmation about the same as of yet.
