John Abraham established himself as a mean villain with ‘Pathaan’ and looks like the actor wants to grow his action avatar. Post his popularity as Jim, the actor is planning to focus more on action packed roles and is not looking to venture into comedy genre.
According to a news portal, John Abraham has quit comedy entertainer ‘100%’ and is also not too keen to take up ‘Awara Pagal Deewana 2’. Rather, the actor is looking out for scripts with high action quotient. John Abraham is also reportedly in discussion for a spin off movie based on his character of Jim from ‘Pathaan’, but there has been no confirmation about it yet.

With ‘Pathaan’, John Abraham reunited with the makers of ‘Dhoom’, wherein he played a villainous role. Speaking about his collaboration with Aditya Chopra, John had said, “So, when he (Aditya Chopra) says John trust me and do this, it will work for you, I believe what he says because he means it and I have done Dhoom with him which was a career defining film in my life.”
Post ‘Pathaan’, John Abraham will be seen in action entertainer ‘Tehran’, co-starring Manushi Chhilar. He also has a geo political thriller with Bhushan Kumar in the pipeline.
