Satish Kaushik’s daughter Vanshika Kaushik makes her first reel with Anupam Kher uncle: ‘Papa was a better dancer’ – Times of India

Vanshika Kaushik, daughter of Satish Kaushik, had left everyone teary-eyed when she read out the letter that she had written on her late father’s 67th birth anniversary. During the event, Anupam Kher, who has been one of the closest friends of Satish, had told Vanshika that she doesn’t have to feel alone. And the veteran actor has already started taking care of Vanshika like his own daughter.
On Friday evening, Vanshika shared her first ever reel with Anupam on Instagram. The two were seen trying to match steps together on Hundred Miles song and Vanshika realised that her father Satish was a better dancer than her Anupam uncle.

“My first reel with one and only #Anupam uncle , he really needs to rehearse a little more, as compared to him papa was a better dancer, but thank u Anupam uncle for trying,love u,” the 10-year-old captioned the video.

During the celebration of Satish’s 67th birth anniversary, Anupam had asked Vanshika about her favourite memory with her father. To which, Vanshika had replied, “When I wouldn’t be in a good mood and he would tell me, Vanshika do you want to go on a lunch date to JW Mariott? And then he would take me there. He would make me laugh with his weird dance movies. Also, when mom would scold me, he would secretly do my math homework.”

Anupam along with Anil Kapoor were seen crying inconsolably while remembering their late friend. Other Bollywood celebrities such as Neena Gupta, Shabana Azmi also recalled their unheard stories with Satish. Subhash Ghai, Rani Mukerji among others had also attended the event.

Anupam and other friends of Satish assured that they will always be there for Satish’s wife Shashi and their daughter Vanshika. Anupam also asked Vanshika to promise him to call him every evening.
