Actor Alia Bhatt, who has returned to work full time after giving birth to baby girl Raha last year in November, is currently enjoying the best phase of her life. Whether it is shooting for her upcoming movies, brand endorsements or award shows, the actor seems to be acing it all.

Now, adding another feather to her cap, Alia will soon be walking the red carpet at the prestigious Met Gala, that is scheduled to take place next month on May 1. The event is an annual fundraising gala in support of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. The event, where celebs from all across the world dress up in their quirkiest best, in accordance with the theme, is one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

Late last night, Alia was spotted at the airport, leaving for the event. Radiating her brightest smile for the paps, Alia looked comfortable in baggy-fit denims, a white tee, and a colourful jacket. For the event, Alia is set to don designer Prabal Gurung and fans can’t wait to see the actor’s final look.
Alia is all geared up for her next, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh. The romcom, directed by Karan Johar will hit theatres in July this year.
