8 A.M. Metro director Raj Rachakonda: No Telugu actor wanted to do my film; got lucky with Gulshan Devaiah | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Director Raj Rachakonda says he just got lucky when Gulshan Devaiah agreed to do his film 8 A.M. Metro.
At the preview of the film, the filmmaker said, “No Telugu actor wanted to do the film. So I decided to make the film in Hindi and just got lucky with Gulshan Devaiah who agreed to be part of the film.”
Raj Rachakonda is thankful to Anurag Kashyap for his support and make this film happen.
When asked how he managed to convince Gulzar saab to do the film, he said, “Anurag Kashyap helped me and I waited for one year for him.”
“It is a small release. I really wanted an OTT release, but their condition was to release in cinemas first,” Raj further explained about is film releasing in cinemas.
The film also stars Saiyami Kher in lead role. It is a story of two star-crossed people who meet on a metro in Hyderabad. After several meetings, they start developing a bond that is not love, because they are married to their respective partners.
