Animal pre-teaser: Ranbir Kapoor goes on a rampage, looks menacing in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has been one of the most talked about movies of the year. The slick flick starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, has been creating buzz ever since its first motion poster came out, showing Ranbir look menacing covered in blood, lighting a cigarette.

Earlier today, the makers released the pre-teaser of the same, which shows Ranbir going on a killing spree with an axe, as a Punjabi song played in the background.

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with TNN, director Sandeep opened up on working with Ranbir. He said, “Working with Ranbir is a great feeling; it must be for any director. There’s never a dull moment on set with him around. Rashmika entered the project late, but what she’s bringing to the film… you’ve never seen something like that from her before. All I want from actors is that they bring their best to the set, and these two do. I never underestimated them, but they’ve both surprised me.”
He also gave some deets on Animal and said, “While it’s a crime drama, it’s all about the relationship between a father and son. It’ll be so special that…I believe it’ll work in any language. People up north already know me from Kabir Singh, in the south we all just want a good film, and they know Ranbir. I just want my story to reach everywhere.”

Animal will hit theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on August 11.
