The star cast of Rajinikanth‘s upcoming film tentatively known as ‘Thalaivar 170’, directed by TJ Gnanvel is getting bigger and bigger. While it was revealed that Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh and Manju Warrier are on board the project, the latest to have joined the cast is Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Telugu star Rana Daggubati & Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil.
While Rana Daggubati has earlier worked in Tamil film like ‘Arrambam’, ‘Bangalore Naatkal’ and ‘Kaadan’, the talented Fahadh Faasil impressed the Tamil audience with his performance in films like ‘Velaikkaran’, ‘Super Deluxe’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Maamannan’ most recently.

The movie is backed by Lyca Productions, and music will be done by music sensation Anirudh Ravichander. Buzz is that Gnanavel’s film is based on a true incident, and Rajinikanth will be portraying the character of a Muslim police officer.
