Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra is also gearing up for the theatrical release of her upcoming film ‘Mission Raniganj‘. As per Bollywood Hungama, the film is about a group of miners stuck in a mine. The report added that the time was running out and they needed to be rescued before they perished.
The report further stated that the makers had to focus on the principal track to keep the interest and tension levels high. Hence, there’s very little focus on Parineeti Chopra’s track. Her screen time is around 10 minutes.

‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ is based on the real-life story of the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989, in West Bengal. While Akshay plays Jaswant Singh Gill in the film, Parineeti plays his wife Nirdosh Kaur Gill.
Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, the film also stars Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena and Shishir Sharma in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai, ‘Mission Ranignaj’ will hit the theatres on October 6, 2023.
