‘Leo’ fever grips Madurai, Vijay’s fans dance, scream and cheer out loud outside theatres
The movie also boasts a star-studded cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja. Even superstar Rajinikanth expressed his hopes for the success of ‘Leo,’ saying, ‘I pray to God that the movie becomes a massive hit.’ In a bid to make the release a grand event, Seven Screen Studios Production filed a petition with the Madras High Court, seeking permission to screen the film as early as 4 am in cinemas across Tamil Nadu on the release day.
As ‘Leo’ hit the theaters, fans celebrated in a big way. Numerous videos captured fans dancing, lighting fireworks, and organizing motorbike rallies with Vijay’s posters. The visuals depict the immense excitement and joy of fans as they watched the movie. In many places, cinema halls were swarmed by hordes of fans, adding a festive atmosphere with music and celebrations.
The Times of India review noted that one of the film’s shortcomings is the absence of a formidable, dominant antagonist. While Arjun Sarja managed to keep pace with Vijay’s energy, the review pointed out that Vijay’s on-screen presence was quite limited.
