Kangana Ranaut says she’s never paid attention to Taapsee Pannu | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Kangana Ranaut doesn’t believe in holding back her thoughts and has often ended up creating controversies, for instance when she called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar ‘B-Grade’ actors. The actress in her recent conversation with Times Now Navbharat mentioned that she is still firm on her thoughts. She went on to state that Taapsee begged for roles that were rejected by her while Swara had problems because her opinions didn’t match with hers.
Kanganastated that Taapsee said some unruly things about her after she achieved success, so she and her sister Rangoli called her B-Grade actress. Kangana mentioned that Taapsee had commented on her, suggesting that she requires a double filter. According to her, Taapsee faced challenges between 2012 and 2013, and when she achieved success in 2016, she remarked that “Kangana needs a double filter.”
The Queen actor also went on to state that this comment of Taapsee didn’t go down well with her elder sister Rangoli who felt that actresses who get inspired by her shouldn’t talk like this. She also added that she didn’t find anything wrong with what her sister said while highlighting that she has never paid any attention to Taapsee and only wishes her success.
Kangana mentioned that she and Swara were good friends during the filming of “Tanu Weds Manu.” She recalled moments like styling Swara’s hair for an introduction scene. However, Kangana noted that Swara’s views changed over time, and she seemed to have issues with Kangana, suggesting that people who become more liberal and tolerant may not appreciate differing opinions.
Kangana is gearing up for her latest release Tejas where she plays IAF officer Tejas Gill, post which she will jump into her directorial venture Emergency where she plays Indira Gandhi.
