Boney Kapoor dismisses the idea of Sridevi’s biopic; says it’s too personal to be presented for public consumption | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

In the current wave of Bollywood biopics, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi’s husband, discloses that numerous offers have come his way to bring her life story to the big screen.However, the producer opposes the idea.
He says that he will never venture into making a biopic on the late actress. He adds that it is too personal, and thus, despite several offers, he can’t say yes to a Sridevi biopic.

On one hand, interviews are being taken of those who knew the actress, on the other hand, Boney Kapoor doesn’t even want to do that.
Bonney Kapoor and Sridevi’s love story was tumultuous and at the same time, they were meant to be together. Kapoor became a fan of Sri after witnessing her in a Tamil film, and eventually crossed paths with her when he cast her in ‘Mr India’ (1987). Love flourished over time, leading to their marriage in 1996. Their love only grew with time when they brought Janhvi and Khushi into the world.
When asked about the potential cinematic portrayal of their romance, the producer again mentioned that it is something very personal. How the two of them fell in love and got married, their special moments are not for public consumption.
