At a press conference for the series, Song Kang, reprising his lead role in Season 2, was asked about a bold nude scene in the series.With a smile, he admitted, “My hands got sweaty”, and went on to share the dedication he invested in the scene, “I put in a lot of effort. It’s a scene that was created through a lot of conversations with the director. It came out so beautifully. I’m satisfied. I’m originally very shy. I’m still an I (MBTI Introverted). After shooting that scene, my shyness decreased by half. I’m sincerely grateful to the director for helping me grow”.
Director Lee Eung-bok commended Song Kang’s performance, highlighting, “Actually, the most touching part for me in that scene is at the very end. It’s a scene where he shed tears while empathizing with monsters. Monsters don’t actually exist, but he made it so sad. In difficult and challenging situations, he can uplift emotions. He has become a truly wonderful actor”.
