Did Cha Eun Woo and Jungkook meet at a cafe before the latter’s military enlistment? – Times of India



Jungkook was the last member of BTS to enlist for the mandatory military training, he began the same with Jimin on December 12. Ahead of his 18-month long training, Jungkook caught up with some of his close friends in the industry.
During his last live session with fans, Jungkook had revealed that he met SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu for a “bye-bye” drink and fans guessed that the latter may have changed his schedule for his friend.Netizens are now theorizing that Jungkook and ASTRO’sCha Eun Woo also had a quick personal meeting recently.
During his second to last live stream, Jungkook revealed how Cha Eun Woo had gifted him a letter and a watch which is mainly used by military personnel. Soon after Jungkook’s enlistment, a fan posted a picture of Jungkook and Eun Woo’s signatures at a restaurant in Gangnam. While the date of their meeting is unconfirmed, fans believe that this is the very place where Cha Eun Woo met Jungkook and gifted him the letter and watch. Fans came to this conclusion since Jungkook’s autograph featured the word ‘Golden’, which he began adding post his solo debut. Netizens were in awe of this rumoured secret meeting of the besties.

Before Jungkook and Jimin, RM and V enlisted for military training on December 11. Confirming the military enlistment, Big Hit had said in a statement, “We ask for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook until they complete their military service and return. Our company will also strive to provide all the support they need during this time.” After serving nearly 18 months, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are expected to be discharged from duty by June 2025. Suga, J-Hope and Jin have been serving since a while now.
