Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. But neither of the two have officially admitted to how they feel about each other. When Ananya was there on Karan Johar‘s show, ‘Koffee With Karan 8‘, she just said that they’re best friends and that she wants to keep things personal. But Karan and Sara Ali Khan kept teasing her and she remained quiet while blushing.She also called herself ‘Ananya Coy Kapur’.
Meanwhile, now Aditya was seen on the couch with Arjun Kapoor. Karan asked Kapur, “Rumour has it that you are dating Ananya Panday?” Aditya replied and said, “Karan, you said on your show, ‘Ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies’. I remember this.” KJo furhter told Aditya that Ananya called her self Ananya Coy Kapur on the show. The actor responded to that and said, “And I am Aditya Joy Kapur as of now.” Karan countered his answer and said, “You mean you’re joyously in a situationship?” Aditya responded, “Yes, I’m quite joyous.”
Further when Karan asked him if the one word which comes to his mind when he hears Ananya’s name, is ‘joy’, he said,”Pure Joy, bliss.”
For those unaware, a situationship is an undefined romantic relationship between two people that often lacks commitment. Meanwhile, the fun part came when Karan asked Aditya what he would do if he was stuck in an elevator with Ananya and Shraddha Kapoor. “Aashiqui toh zarur karta, ab kiske saath woh nahi pata.”
However, Aditya failed to recognise a very popular reference from Ananya’s father Chunky Pandey‘s movie. Aditya won the hamper after the rapid fire round and Karan asked him if he would share it with Ananya. The actor said, “It depends.” Arjun quipped and said, “There could be some aakhri pasta inside,” and Aditya said, “May be let’s see.” It was quite evident that Aditya doesn’t know the answer to it and Arjun said, “See, he doesn’t even know that!”
Karan laughed and told him, that he’ll have aakhri pasta with Ananya if she sees this episode because he clearly hasn’t done adequate research on her daddy dearest!
