Actor Vikram Pratap, recognized for his roles in various projects like ‘Darlings’ and Netflix’s ‘Kathal, Chal Zindagi’, recently expressed his elation over the Oscar nomination contention achieved by the short film “Incognito.” The acclaimed short, helmed by filmmaker Ravi Muppa, is set to transition into a full-length feature film.

The forthcoming feature adaptation reunites executive producers Anurag Kashyap and Ranjan Singh under the Flip Films banner, along with Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D’Souza of Invention Studios.
“Incognito” follows the story of a motel receptionist who supplements his income by selling clandestinely recorded videos of unsuspecting guests. However, when he discovers a young girl at risk of being trafficked in his recorded footage, he faces a moral dilemma and embarks on a mission to confront the situation.
The short film “Incognito” has garnered acclaim across the globe, being showcased at over 20 international film festivals, including the prestigious Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs Shortfest, Tirana, and LA Shorts. The film stands as a 2024 Oscar contender in the live-action short film category, alongside other Indian entries like “Nocturnal Burger” and “The Broken Table.”
