Earlier this month, Ahn Hyo Seop hit headlines after it was reported that the ‘Business Proposal’ actor has been exemption from the mandatory military service rule in South Korea. Turns out, the actor has Canadian citizenship and hence he has been exempted from this obligation. Ahn Hyo Seop was born in Seoul, but his family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when he was six years old. His journey in front of the camera began when he was cast by JYP Entertainment while attending high school in Canada. After three years of training to become an idol, he went on to become an actor.
