As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar are collaborating once again. It is highly probable that their next project will feature Shah Rukh Khan. The duo is exchanging various ideas, and Karan is inclined towards an action film with Shah Rukh. Notably, Karan has not directed an action film before. However, Shah Rukh Khan, having recently done two consecutive action films, is not particularly enthusiastic about another in the same genre. On the flip side, after ‘Dunki,’ he is not keen on pursuing more experimental projects.
Shah Rukh and Karan have, in the past, given hits like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai‘, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’.

Meanwhile, Karan is collaborating with Salman Khan for his next production titled, ‘The Bull’. Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, the film offers a reinterpretation of Operation Cactus. This military operation, which took place on November 3, 1988, involved the Indian Armed Forces assisting the Maldives in regaining control after a coup attempt orchestrated by businessman Abdullah Luthufi and the People’s Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE). The Indian forces swiftly neutralized the mercenaries, restoring control to President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s government within a matter of hours.
