Vidhu Vinod Chopra‘s ‘12th Fail‘ proved to be a sleeper hit of 2023 and also got a lot of critical acclaim. It is based on the real life story of IPS Officer Manoj Sharma and Vikrant Massey essayed his part. The movie also stars Medha Shankr. Rohit Shetty had penned an appreciation post as he saw the movie.

The ‘Golmaal’ director recently revealed in an interview with Film Companion that what was Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s reaction when he told him he liked ’12th Fail’.Shetty said he’s a big fan of Vinod Chopra’s work, especially ‘Parinda’ and hence Manoj Sharma told him he should call him and tell him he liked ’12th Fail’. On hearing from Rohit, Chopra said, ‘Tereko achi lagi picture? Chal ab wine ki bottle bhej (You liked the film? Come on, now send me a bottle of wine)’. Rohit revealed that this is the senior junior thing which he misses now in the industry.
Rohit is currently promoting his OTT debut series ‘Indian Police Force‘ which stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.
