Prabhas’ magnum opus, ‘Salaar: Cease Fire, Part 1,’ continues to showcase its box office prowess as it enters its 27th day in theaters. Despite a slight decline in daily earnings, the action-packed extravaganza has proven its enduring appeal, securing an estimated ₹0.2 crore on its 27th day across all languages in India for the Hindi region, according to Sacnilk.com.
While the film experiences a dip in numbers compared to its earlier collections, the fact that ‘Salaar’ maintains its presence in theatres after nearly four weeks underscores its strong connection with the audience and widespread regional popularity. The film’s cumulative box office performance is nothing short of impressive, with a net collection of Rs 404.87 crores in India and a staggering worldwide total of Rs 611.8 crores, as reported by Sacnilk.com. Notably, crafted on a budget of Rs 270 crores, ‘Salaar’ has now claimed the fifth position among the highest-grossing Indian movies of 2023.
Prashanth Neel‘s directorial venture made a grand entrance into the box office scene, accumulating ₹308 crore net in its first weekend. The Telugu language dominated the initial collections, contributing Rs 186.05 crore, while the Hindi language added Rs 92.5 crore net. Despite a decrease in Week 2 with Rs 70.1 crores net and Week 3 with Rs 23.7 crores, ‘Salaar’ has maintained a formidable presence at the box office.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, and Madhu Guruswamy in pivotal roles.
