In an interview with ETimes, Shreyas shared that working on ‘Om Shanti Om’ was an incredibly enjoyable experience. At that time, Shah Rukh Khan was already a superstar while Shreyas was relatively new to the film industry, having only done a few films. Shreyas appreciated how Shah Rukh supported him and allowed him to contribute improvisations and additions to their scenes together. This mutual trust and collaboration significantly enhanced their on-screen chemistry, making their characters, Om and Pappu, memorable to audiences even today.
Shreyas mentioned that Shah Rukh possesses a unique ability to put people at ease, making them feel like old friends. He reminisced about the spontaneous improvisations they shared on set, such as flipping their hair back or imitating Om Prakash ji. These impromptu moments created a bond between them that Shreyas fondly remembers and misses.
