Ranveer Singh shields pregnant Deepika Padukone from the crowd as they arrive in Jamnagar for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities | – Times of India

Soon-to-be parents Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on Thursday arrived in Jamnagar for the three-day pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. As the couple stepped out of the airport, they were mobbed by a sea of crowd who congratulated them on the good news.
In the paparazzi videos, Ranveer was seen shielding his pregnant wife Deepika from the crowd as they made their way to their car. Ranveer was also seen greeting some of his fans with a hug for their blessings. They were seen twinning in white outfits.
Earlier in the day, Ranveer and Deepika announced that they are expecting their first child. They revealed that their baby is due in September. They were showered with best wishes by Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shreya Ghoshal, Vikrant Massey, and Alia Bhatt and fans alike as they embark on their parenthood journey.

The news comes days after reports of Deepika’s pregnancy were doing social media rounds when the actor was photographed covering her midsection at the 77th BAFTA awards which she attended as a presenter. Deepika and Ranveer, both 38, tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy.

Meanwhile, the guests are making their way to be part of Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations. Earlier in the day, Pop sensation Rihanna, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Rani Mukerji, American singer and songwriter J Brown and multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and bassist Adam Blackstone also reached Jamnagar.
