Manushi Chhillar began her career with Aditya Chopra’s Samrat Prithiviraj and soon followed it up with The Great Indian Family – a film with a social message. Recalling her experience of working on the TGIF, in an exclusive interview with ETimes, the model turned actress said, “We were shooting during the first lockdown, and I have had such a good time working with Vicky Kaushal and Victor Sir ( Vijay Krishna Acharya). Victor Sir is the kindest, sweetest person ever on set.”
“In fact, when I met him also, I told him that I’m a big fan of Tashan and all its characters and I was hoping it ( TGIF) would be something like that. And I love the songs and I loved Kareena in it, and I ended up asking him if I was going to be like Kareena in the movie? And he said, ‘maybe but, like a very different version of it’, ” she added.
She also recalled her experience of working with Vicky. She said, “I learned a lot as an actor from him, because he has his own method and own way of working.”
Manushi was last seen in the bi-lingual film Operation Valentine opposite south superstar Varun Tej. The film got mixed response at the box office, but is already in profit because of its digital and satellite rights sale.
