Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh tied the knot in Goa on February 21 after dating each other for few years. Their wedding was a grand affair with the haldi, mehendi, sangeet and two ceremonies and some really pretty and elaborate outfits for every occasion.
Post their wedding, Rakul and Jackky were invited to a event by the ‘Assam State Film Corporation’. During the interactive session, Jackky said that he has a very dry sense of humour. Rakul immediately jumped in and added, “In fact, the first thing I liked in him was his sense of humor.”
Rakul and Jackky visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar post their wedding and on Thursday, the couple visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam, ahead of attending their session. The actress donned a simpleton avatar in an orange kurta set and hair tied into a pony.
The couple also won hearts as they decided to make their wedding eco-friendly and grow more trees. To reduce the carbon footprint created because of it, the couple has decided to plant a sapling in Goa in the name of every guest who graced their wedding.
On work front, Rakul will be seen next in ‘Indian 2’ and a romcom with Arjun Kapoor. Jackky on the other hand is the producer on ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and is gearing up for the release. Starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chillar, the film is releasing on Eid this year.
