Jaya Bachchan revealed the reason behind her absence from social media. The veteran actress, who is renowned for consistently making headlines with her statements, has once again grabbed the netizens attention by her comments on mental health and social media.
In the latest episode, Navya can be seen introducing her mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya Bachchan as ‘wise people of the Internet’.To this, Shweta comments, “I wish we had the Internet when I was growing up because it would have made homework and stuff so much easier.” To which, Jaya Bachchan said, “When I was young, we had to book a call, and there were two types of calls: one was ordinary, and the one was an emergency call. If you spoke to your boyfriend, it had to be an emergency call.”

When Navya questioned whether the lack of internet use among the older generation contributed to their reduced stress levels, Jaya confidently said, “Definitely.” When Navya said that she doesn’t feel stressed, Jaya told her, “You don’t think you are stressed but you are. We hadn’t heard of an anxiety attack when we were kids. Let alone our childhood, we never heard it in our midlife also. Where does this come from? This comes because you are constantly being fed information. This comes from ‘how does this girl look? How is she getting her nails, makeup?’ Anxiety comes from this. Too much information.”
