Prasanth Varma‘s latest film ‘HanuMan‘, starring Teja Sajja in the lead has been the talk of the town since its release during Sankranti 2024. The movie for its superhero and mythological element was well appreciated by the fans. However, fans eagerly awaiting the digital release have been left puzzled by the delays. In response, the director took to social media to address the situation and offer some clarity.
On X, Prasanth Varma assured fans that the delay in the film’s OTT streaming was not intentional.He explained that the team has been working tirelessly to resolve any issues and ensure that the film reaches the audience as soon as possible. Emphasizing their commitment to delivering the best possible experience, he thanked fans for their understanding and continued support.

The film was announced to be released on Maha Shivaratri that was on March 8, fans were disappointed when the digital release of ‘HanuMan’ faced a setback. However, it has now been announced that the Hindi version of the film will be available for streaming on JioCinema starting March 16. Despite this update, there remains uncertainty regarding the release date for the Telugu version on another streaming platform.
In addition to addressing the digital release concerns, Prasanth Varma also sought to uplift fans’ spirits ahead of the weekend. He shared, “Lifting your spirits high for the weekend with #HanuManWallPapers,” where he shared a high-quality wallpaper, a still from the film.

Alongside Teja Sajja the movie also has Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai in the key roles. The movie became a sensational hit being a regional film and was highly praised for the VFX and visuals despite having a modest budget.

Teja is portrayed as the character Hanumanthu, who receives the superpowers of Lord Hanuman. He protects his village from evil forces.
