Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and other’s Met Gala 2021 looks kickstart meme-fest on Twitter – Times of India

The pandemic-delayed Met Gala and its fashion parade kicked off Monday night. The gala, which raises money for the museum’s Costume Institute, was pushed last year from its traditional May berth and morphed this year into a two-part affair. Pictures of the Hollywood stars from the night have gone viral on social media. Now, netizens have kickstarted a meme fest on Twitter.

This year, the gala is co-chaired by Timothee Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman and Naomi Osaka. Honorary chairs are Tom Ford, Adam Mosseri and Wintour. The official dress code this year is “American Independence,” which left plenty of wiggle room for interpretation, it honours the 75th anniversary of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were twinning in black at Met Gala 2021. The ‘Peaches’ singer wore a dark suit with a black suitcase in his hands, while Hailey wore a black gown with a plunging neckline. She accessorised her classy look with a pair of black glasses.
