Aamir Khan personally called Naga Chaitanya to offer him ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ – Times of India

Naga Chaitanya is all set to debut in Bollywood with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. The actor joined the sets of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in July this year when he joined the film’s shoot in Ladakh. During a recently interview the South sensation opened up about his Bollywood debut which was totally unplanned.

Naga Chaitanya told a news portal that no one can ever plan a film with Aamir Khan and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha happened organically. Revealing details on how he got the opportunity, Naga added that he got a call from Aamir Khan and after discussing the script, he went to Mumbai for a final round of discussions and was soon on board for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The actor further revealed that Aamir Khan was impressed after watching some of his performances and felt that Naga would be apt for the role he had in mind.

Naga Chaitanya will reportedly essay the role of Aamir Khan’s friend in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Directed by Advait Chandan, this film is an official remake of Hollywood hit ‘Forrest Gump’. Kareena Kapoor Khan essays the leading lady opposite Aamir in this entertainer. The duo recently united in Mumbai to shoot for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. This film is scheduled to hit the screens in December this year.
