Exclusive! Vaani Kapoor: I am not here to please others and make a career based on their opinions – Times of India

Vaani Kapoor has been extremely clear about the choices she’s been making in her career in Bollywood. Her filmography might be limited to only a few films, but she has no regrets. In an earlier interview she told BT that she would rather wait for a good film to come her way instead of focusing on quantity of movies.The actress now mentions that there are a lot of people around her who give her suggestions and tips, but she sticks to her thought process and goes by her gut feeling.

She says, “I am very clear about my path. And if you have clarity in your head then nothing can move you. I have my own belief system and I want to be honest towards it. And if I am not honest to myself then why am I really working?”

The actress says that throughout her journey she has had multiple voices around her who asked her to either refrain herself or coaxed her to be a part of certain projects, but she didn’t let these opinions budge her decision.

She says, “I am not here to please everybody else and make my career based on what other people want me to do. I eventually want to feel satisfied as an actor with my work. I want to be a part of projects that make me come back home with a smile on my face. I want to feel happy by being a part of a certain films. I have to have good days on sets and basically just feel great about my work.”
