Ranbir Kapoor to be back on screen next year with four releases! – Times of India

One of the finest actors of our generation, Ranbir Kapoor has been sorely missed on screen by cinephiles. Known for doing things at his own pace, the actor is known for valuing quality over quantity. However, his Aamir Khan style of functioning has tested the patience of his fans this time around. His last release ‘Sanju’ was three years ago and blame it on circumstances or choices, RK has been missing in action.

While his shoots are on, nothing has been ready for consumption. Thankfully, the lull is all set to end next year. Ranbir’s period action drama Shamshera will finally release on March 18 next year. Yash Raj films announced its theatrical date today. The film directed by Karan Malhotra also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The actor is set to have a busy 2022 as his three other films are also slated to release. An untitled film with Luv Ranjan co-starring Shraddha Kapoor will be out in March next year close to Shamshera. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi project after Kabir Singh called ‘Animal’ will be out on Dusshera 2022. The film will see Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. Ranbir’s fourth film — Ayan Mukerji‘s ‘Brahmastra’, has been in the making for at least 3 years and we hear, it might just see the light of day next year as well. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan alongside Ranbir.
