Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome’ is still one of the most loved films we have in Bollywood. The film starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. However, when the makers planned its sequel, they roped in John Abraham in the lead role. At a promotional event of the film, John was quoted saying, “Akshay is like my elder brother. Whatever I do, I always have a lot of discussions, especially with him. Akshay is happiest for me when I told him that I am doing ‘Welcome Back’. He said it’s a very good film and you should do it.”
