At the event, Indra and Priyanka had talked about breaking barriers, having a work-life balance, and other subjects. During the chat, Indra revealed that when she told her mother that she was meeting Priyanka at the event, she asked Indra to convey a message on her behalf. She told her to tell the Bollywood actress to get married and settle down. Nooyi also joked that if she had stayed on the phone for two more minutes, her mom would have recommended five guys she found.
Interestingly, a few months after the event, in December 2018, Priyanka tied the knot with Nick Jonas in a lavish wedding ceremony in Rajasthan with their family and loved ones in attendance. The couple got married in both Christian and Hindu ceremonies as they wanted to honour both their cultures and traditions. They will complete three glorious years in December this year.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka was last seen in ‘The White Tiger’ which also starred Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav in lead roles. The film was released on an OTT platform.
Next, she will be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zara’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt for the first time.
