Talking about this busy phase in her career, Shefali says, “It has never happened to me! I have never shuttled between sets like this before. For the first time in my life, I am actually shuttling between sets. But I am really enjoying this because I’m getting the kind of roles I cannot say no to. The second lockdown did pile up all the work on the table and moved the dates around in a big way. We weren’t entirely in a lockdown but the shoots had come to a grinding halt. The second lockdown in this pandemic just put all the projects on hold. But it gave me the time to work and prepare myself for the roles I signed up for. Of course, I am never fully prepared but I did get the time to be as ready as I could be.”
When asked about the shooting experience in the new normal, Shefali says, “All our lives have changed since this unprecedented pandemic hit. Safety measures and health norms are a part of our lives. I have to get the tests done every other day. There is no option and no need to fight this either. This has to be an accepted way of functioning. All the production houses are following safety norms for which is great. That’s the way to keep the show running.”
