Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and their families are ardent devotees of Maa Durga and every year, we would get to see photos of the sisters celebrating Durga Pujo. In these photos, we can see them participating in sindoor khela with friends Karan Johar and Natasha Poonawalla. After the Visarjan puja, married women, dressed in white saree with red borders perform goddess Durga’s aarti and then apply sindoor over the idol’s forehead and feet before smearing sindoor on each other’s forehead.
